| Summary: | Distributed system which is part of parallel computing plays an important position in Indonesia's research facility. This system enables high level computation with relativity lower cost than any computation system that can be offered by mainframe computer. This paper discusses ACP (Actor-to-acto Communication Procedure) as an alternative library for distributed system's communication mechanism. This ia a hybrid library between modern object oriented IPC (Interprocess Communication) and recently popular peer-to-peer system. With this characteristic, ACP enables economic aspect of distributed system to be increased with elimination of the need of high end server. |
