This study explores the adoption of core sustainability values among B-Corp-certified SMEs in Indonesia and examines their implementation of sustainability-oriented innovations. Through a mixed-methods approach combining correlational analysis and thematic analysis, the study found that B-Corp-certified SMEs prioritize sustainability values such as environmental stewardship, community engagement, and ethical business practices. These values are integral to their operational strategies, influencing decisions across supply chains, product development, and community engagement. The correlational analysis revealed positive associations between core sustainability values and the adoption of sustainability-oriented innovations, highlighting how these values drive SMEs to innovate towards more sustainable practices. Thematic analysis further underscored the role of leadership commitment, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory support as critical factors enabling SMEs to embed sustainability into their business models. In conclusion, the findings emphasize the pivotal role of B-Corp certification in guiding SMEs towards comprehensive sustainability strategies in Indonesia. By upholding core sustainability values and embracing innovations aligned with sustainability goals, SMEs not only enhance their resilience and competitiveness but also contribute positively to environmental and social well-being. This study advocates for continued support from policymakers, stakeholders, and industry leaders to foster an enabling environment that encourages more SMEs to adopt and scale sustainable practices, thereby promoting long-term economic and environmental sustainability. text
