Description
Summary:Adorable Projects is a company operating in the fashion retail sector located in Cimahi City, West Java. This company itself has been established since 2012 and has 66 employees, 35 of whom are warehouse employees. Even though it has been established for 12 years, this company still does not have standard evaluations and there is no method for developing employee performance. This non-standard evaluation is proven by results-based performance measurements and the absence of indicators in determining performance scores. The result of this is that the performance of warehouse employees tends to be low and there are no steps that can be taken to overcome this problem. In order to solve this problem, improvements in competency-based assessment need to be carried out. Improvements to the evaluation are carried out by compiling proposed competencies, indicators, and appropriate training recommendations. Evaluation improvements begin by evaluating the effectiveness of existing competencies using the SMART matrix. The proposed competencies are then prepared based on the evaluation results using the existing competency model. The proposed competencies that have been prepared are then identified as representative behaviors from the corresponding competency model. Based on these representative behaviors, critical behaviors are identified. The critical behavior of each competency is used to determine performance dimensions, levels of Dave's taxonomy, and develop indicators according to the BARS method. Performance and competency weighting was then carried out using the pairwise comparison method. The competency of the proposal is then re-evaluated using the SMART matrix. Training recommendations are then prepared using existing training models. The recommendations are then determined by Dave's taxonomy level and mapped against the proposed competencies. These recommendations are prioritized using the RICE method. The result of the improved assessment is the Performance Evaluation Sheet (PES) which is a standard form of evaluation. By using this standard, companies can carry out evaluations effectively and objectively. It is hoped that these improvements will encourage Adorable Projects warehouse employees to improve their performance.
