Recognizing the importance of maintaining sustainable service quality, PT Kodasindo
Tatasarana plans to implement a standardized quality management system to address these
issues and fulfill the company’s vision. Therefore, research related to the design of the
quality management system was conducted, aiming to provide guidelines for designing a
quality management system for PT Kodasindo Tatasarana in the process of ISO 9001:2015
certification.
The research was conducted through a gap analysis to identify the fulfillment of
requirements in the current quality management system and designed using the process
approach method. The identification of ISO 9001:2015 requirements was performed by
collecting data through a review of the company’s current quality documents, including
stages of company profile identification, process identification and mapping, and
determination of proposals to meet the ISO 9001:2015 requirements. The design phase
involved understanding the organizational context, determining and mapping processes,
designing quality documents, and planning the quality management system.
The findings reveal that PT Kodasindo Tatasarana currently has eighteen main processes,
four supporting processes, and one management process. Based on this mapping, PT
Kodasindo Tatasarana does not yet meet all the requirements of ISO 9001:2015. Areas
requiring improvement were identified, with 42 clauses not yet fulfilled and 21 clauses
already compliant. Consequently, a quality management system was designed consisting of
nine processes, ten activities, eighteen procedures, twelve forms, and eight supporting
documents for the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system.
