Summary: | PT X is a leading automotive company participating in the development process of Making
Indonesia 4.0 by implementing a ticketing system for accurate reporting of issues
encountered by each stakeholder. The ticketing system is used by all PT X subsidiaries,
including PT XYZ, which is the subject of this research. PT XYZ has not seen a reduction
in the number of tickets related to the procurement system. The main causes of the high
number of tickets related to the procurement system are the lack of system integration and
difficulties in procurement evaluation. PT XYZ does not have a centralized system,
resulting in supplier-related information being scattered across various departments with
different systems. Therefore, this research designs a procurement information system and
a procurement evaluation dashboard.
The methods applied in this research are the FAST (Framework for the Application of
System Thinking) method and the Noetix method. The system design methodology is divided
into three main stages: needs identification, information system design, and dashboard
design. Needs identification includes the description of the research object, identification
of current business processes, determination of stakeholders, determination of scope,
identification of system development objectives, and identification of information system
needs. Information system design includes business process improvement, process
modeling, data modeling, creating a data dictionary, and prototype design. Dashboard
design includes KPI identification, indicator needs identification, data needs identification,
dashboard visualization identification, and prototype design.
The results of the research include a prototype procurement information system utilizing
Figma tools and a procurement evaluation dashboard prototype with Microsoft Power BI.
The procurement information system is intended for system users, including the planning
control division, warehouse division, quality control division, purchasing division,
accounting division, and suppliers. The procurement information system is expected to
provide benefits to the company, such as operational efficiency, transparency and
accountability, cost savings, and better decision-making.
