Description
Summary:The digitalization of healthcare services in Indonesia, as acknowledged by Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin, is crucial for addressing the complexity of the healthcare sector and ensuring equal access. The use of health applications in Indonesia has increased significantly, reaching 57 percent of users, making it the third-largest market for health app usage. While health apps in Indonesia have evolved with features like online medication purchases, they still lack product comparison features. Doris Peter noted that consumers struggle to obtain credible information for comparing medications, hindering the decision-making process with healthcare practitioners. A product comparison feature is essential to help users select suitable products. An adequate interaction design, evaluated using Nielsen's heuristic principles, is necessary despite the challenges of limited mobile device screens and the need for detailed information. A user-centered design approach was chosen as the research method to ensure that the interaction design meets user needs. This final project aims to provide a solution in the form of a high-fidelity prototype. The problem-solving methodology applies a user-centered design approach (ISO 9241-210), which includes understanding the context of use, identifying user needs, creating design solutions, and evaluating the design. The result of this project is a high-fidelity prototype interaction design that shows improvement over the previous application by incorporating cognitive aspects as a supporting element of the interaction design. The interaction design is also more effective, efficient, and easy to learn, with users feeling supported by the product comparison feature.
