Description
Summary:The Indonesian Batik Industry faces significant sustainability challenges, necessitating a transformation into a learning organization. To evaluate this transition, a learning organization maturity model was developed, designed to assess the maturity levels across various dimensions and indicators within the industry. The model's development followed a five-stage process: scope, design, populate, test, and deploy. The scope-to-test stages were completed, and the model was subsequently applied at the deploy stage to evaluate the learning organization's maturity levels in three Batik industries in and around Bandung. The study identified 30 indicators within the maturity model, distributed across five dimensions: 7 learning, 7 organization, 5 people, 8 knowledge, and 3 technology indicators. The findings revealed variations in the maturity levels of these dimensions and indicators, corresponding to different stages of organizational growth. Specifically, two industries were in the Growth stage, while one had reached the Expansion stage.
