The market demand for strawberries in Indonesia is also very high with an increase in imports every year so that it is prospective to be further developed in an effort to improve the health of the Indonesian people. The use of alternative growing media can increase production and nutrient content, namely using cocopeat growing media which has a neutral pH and high water binding. This study aims to quantify changes in total phenols, total sucrose, anthocyanin content and vitamin c content in strawberries (Fragaria x ananassa CV. Festival) cultivated on cocopeat and compost planting media during the harvesting period. The method of cultivation process refers to the Standard Operating Procedure of CV Bumi Agro Technology which uses a drip irrigation system and the application of NPK 16-16- 16 fertiliser. Biochemical analyses used included total phenolic content with FolinCiocalteu reagent and gallic acid standard curve, total sucrose using digital refractometer, total anthocyanins with Lees & France analysis and vitamin C determined by AOAC method. The results showed that cultivation with cocopeat and compost planting media produced total phenolic content with an average of 145.056 ± 13.08 mg GA/100 grams of strawberry fruit, total sucrose 6.967 ± 0.43 g/100 grams of strawberry fruit, anthocyanin levels with an average of 63.27 ± 3.5 g/100 grams of strawberry fruit, vitamin C levels with a range of 68.053 ± 5.41 g/100 grams of strawberry fruit text
