The availability of nutrients is crucial for strawberry growth, particularly nitrogen and phosphorus. Deficiency of these two elements can significantly disrupt growth. This study aims to quantify the nitrogen and phosphorus content in strawberry plants during cultivation using cocopeat and compost media. The method for analyzing nitrogen and phosphorus involved wet ashing using concentrated H2SO4 and H2O2 as a catalyst, followed by spectrophotometry. Strawberry plants accumulated 294 mg of nitrogen per plant and 32 mg of phosphorus per plant at 112 days after planting. The actual nitrogen use efficiency was 2.3%, and phosphorus use efficiency was 1.46%, while the agronomic efficiency of nitrogen was 0.017% and phosphorus was 0.001%. The amount of nitrogen utilized for fruit production reached 1701 mg/kg of fruit, while phosphorus was 0.05 mg/kg of fruit. Observations indicated nitrogen and phosphorus deficiencies from the vegetative phase to the flowering phase. Additionally, the nitrogenphosphorus mass balance suggested over-fertilization, as there was nutrient accumulation in the final planting medium. It is recommended to adjust fertilization rates and timing to improve nutrient use efficiency text
