Description
Summary:Lombok is one of the major islands in Indonesia that has abundant natural tourism potential. Currently, there are still many undeveloped tourism potentials in Lombok. In the long run, tourism in Lombok will grow and attract tourists from all over the world. Therefore, it is necessary to improve infrastructure in Lombok in order to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of meeting the needs of the community. One of the steps that can be taken is the development of port docks to improve connectivity between islands. Based on this, Pelindo Regional III plans to develop Lembar Port, namely by extending the Nusantara II Pier and building a new trestle. Nusantara II Pier is a special passenger and Ro-Ro pier located in Lembar City, West Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province. The topic discussed in this Final Project is the design of pier and trestle structures in the development of Nusantara II Pier at Lembar Port. This Final Project covers the discussion of data collection and processing, design of pier structure design, modeling and analysis of structures with SAP2000 software, design of reinforcement of pier structural elements, and analysis of soil bearing capacity at the pier location. The pier structure is designed to produce UCR and deflection values that can be accepted by the structure in accordance with applicable standards. Structural modeling is carried out to obtain the optimum design along with the internal forces and reactions of the pier. The output of the structural modeling will then be used to design the reinforcement on the structural elements of the pier and the analysis of soil bearing capacity. In addition, in this Final Project, internal force tests on plate elements when the plate area is divided and not divided as well as internal force tests on plate elements in four different plate types are also conducted. Nusantara II Pier currently has a length of 133 m with a width of 16 m. The design of the 100 m long pier extension results in a pier structure with a total length of 233 m and a width of 16 m. The pier extension structure is designed in accordance with the existing conditions of the Nusantara II Pier with a pier elevation of +4.3 m from LWS. The foundations used are 600 mm diameter piles with a thickness of 14 mm for the pier structure and 400 mm diameter piles with a thickness of 14 mm for the trestle structure. The foundation of the pier structure needs to be driven to a depth of 33 m below the seabed while the foundation of the trestle structure needs to be driven to a depth of 36 m below the seabed. The results of this Final Project include the design of the pier and trestle extension structure, the results of the internal force test on the plate, the reinforcement details of the pier structural elements, and the required pile depth.
