Creative industries refer to activities rooted in an individual’s creativity, talent, and skill, with the potential to generate wealth and create jobs by producing intellectual property. Indonesia established Creative Economy Agency (Badan Ekonomi Kreatif/Bekraf) in 2015. Then in 2019 Creative Economy become part of the Ministry of Tourism and Economy Creative. The duty of this agency is to assist the President of Republic Indonesia to formulate, determine, coordinate and synchronize the regulation in creative economy. Creative economy in Indonesia supported around 7.44 percent from National Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in 2016 (Bekraf Report, 2018). The growth of creative economy from 2015 to 2016 is 4.39 percent. In 2015 GDP contribution of the creative economy was at IDR 852.24 trillion, while in 2015 the contribution grew to IDR 922.59 trillion (Bekraf Report, 2018). This research will focus on enterprises which engage in a creative economy. The three highest subsectors in creative industries which contribute to GDP are culinary, fashion and craft. Unfortunately, fashion and craft industries are considered to have low innovation (Bekraf Report, 2017). In addition, these two subsectors still have little Intellectual Property Right (IPR) for their products and low implementation in research and development. Refer to the data above; creative industries are substantial for Indonesian’s economic growth, but some subsectors still have low level of innovation and research & development. To increase the performance of Creative Industries, Knowledge Management (KM) can be used as a tool. Knowledge Management (KM) is described as the systematic handling of a company's knowledge assets with the aim of generating value and fulfilling both tactical and strategic needs. It encompasses the initiatives, processes, strategies, and systems that support and enhance the storage, evaluation, sharing, refinement, and creation of knowledge. (Dalkir, 2011). Organizational performance can be assessed from multiple perspectives; one of them is the Learning and Growth perspective. This study will focus on the Learning and Growth of Creative Industries. There are several KM approaches that Creative Industries have implemented to improve their learning and growth. The objectives of this study is to identify how KM is implemented in Creative Industries and to seek the answer on how KM strategies can improve the learning and growth of Creative Industries. In addition, the success stories of KM implementation in the Creative Industry can be used by other Creative Industries in the future. Several obstacles that may occur in KM implementation are also observed. Then there will be studied how KM enablers and KM processes can improve the Learning and Growth in Creative Industries. This research will be conducted in several Creative Industries in West Java province. Qualitative Method research will be applied in this study which uses observation and semi-structured interviews for collecting the data. Further study needs to be performed to see how this will fit nationally. text |

This research will be conducted in several Creative Industries in West Java province. Qualitative Method research will be applied in this study which uses observation and semi-structured interviews for collecting the data. Further study needs to be performed to see how this will fit nationally. |
