This thesis focuses on selecting the optimal livestock business partner for ALZ Broilers, a broiler farming business located in Kab. Bima, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. The research addresses the challenges ALZ Broilers faces due to unsatisfied result and inefficiencies with their current partner, which have resulted in suboptimal profits. The primary objectives are to determine and analyze the criteria essential for selecting potential partners to enhance ALZ Broiler’s efficiency and profitability and to evaluate the weight of each criterion in the decision-making process. Using a comprehensive approach, the research employs cause analysis through the Fishbone diagram technique and Situation Appraisal via Kepner-Tregoe Analysis. The decision-making process is structured into eight stages using the Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique (SMART), a Multi- Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) method, to systematically assess potential partners based on factors such as Day-Old-Chick (DOC) prices, feed costs, chicken selling prices, DOC quality, market bonus, and partnership convenience. Additionally, a Potential Problem Analysis is conducted to anticipate and mitigate risks associated with each partnership option. The research ultimately identifies the most suitable partner for ALZ Broilers to collaborate with in the next period, ensuring that the livestock business partnership supports sustainable business growth, efficiency, and profitability.
