This study examines the impact of remote work on employee productivity in the Greater Jakarta area, with a specific focus on PT JAR, a small fully-remote company. Remote work offers benefits such as flexibility and time savings but presents challenges, including blurred work-life boundaries, reduced collaboration efficiency, and social isolation. Addressing these issues is crucial for optimizing productivity and employee well-being. Using a qualitative approach, this study employed in-depth interviews and thematic analysis to explore employee experiences. Findings indicate that routine and individual tasks thrive in remote settings, while collaborative tasks often face inefficiencies due to communication delays and reduced engagement. Solutions proposed include adopting a hybrid work model, improving communication tools, establishing clear work-life boundaries, strengthening organizational support systems, and fostering team cohesion through hybrid events. This research contributes to the understanding of remote work's dual impact, offering actionable strategies for companies like PT JAR and others in Greater Jakarta. The study highlights the importance of balancing flexibility with structured collaboration and provides a foundation for future research on hybrid work practices and technological innovations. text
