Description
Summary:Personal hygiene is a fundamental need for every individual, including children, who must be taught from an early age to instill awareness and habits of maintaining personal cleanliness. However, in Indonesia, the practice of personal hygiene is still not well implemented, especially in densely populated areas with limited access to sanitation and poor environmental conditions. Children in these areas face health risks due to inadequate sanitation facilities, lack of safe play spaces, and poor environmental quality. Addressing these issues, a study and design process was conducted to create a handwashing facility specifically for children that promotes efficient water usage. This facility is designed not only to make it easier for children to maintain hand hygiene but also to indirectly educate them on the importance of clean-living habits through a practical, ergonomic, and environmentally friendly approach. This solution aims to provide a sustainable way to improve the health of children in densely populated or rural areas.
