It is caused by the raw material for production of sorbitan monooleate are renewable resources and the existence in Indonesia is guaranteed. In that research the condition of reaction was kept at 180 degrees C temperature and atmospheric pressure. As comparison, sorbitan monooleate from Sigma and EAC Thailand were used. Those products have acid value of 5,5-6 with yellow light color. This result was caused by temperature and pressure which is to high.
