This toxin includes hepatotoxins such as microcystin.The study was conducted to determine the concentration of microcystin in intensive shrimp vannamei ponds (Litopenaeusvannamei). The results showed that dominance of cyanobacteria affected the concentration of microcystin toxins in the observed samples.
