Two control, negative and positive, were used for comparison. MDA (malondialdehyde) examination was performed using TBA (thiobarbituric acid) test, serum GPT (glutamate pyruvate transaminase ) , and histopathological examination. Results showed that garlic administration of 10 g/kg bw could prevent the increase of MDA concentration, the occurrence of centrilobular necrosis, and the increase of GPT concentration.
