Prevention of cruelty to animals SF Animal culture The exPeriment was conducted to evaluate the effect of oxytetracycline supplementation in the diet and feeding pattern regulation on the productivity of broiler Hubbard strain. The environment temperature during the research was 22 v to 26" C while relative humidity was 80 to 85%. The main exPeriment, consisted of two treatments, there were four types of oxytetracycline consentration (0,50, 75 and 100 p~) in the diet and three types of feeding pattern ( 3 weeks for starter period and 4 weeks for finisher period (S3f4); 4 weeks for starter period and 3 weeks for finisher period (S4F3> and 5 weeks for starter period and 2 weeks period (S5F2). The data of body weight gain, feed eficiency were collected every week, however fat triglyceride and cholesterol, meat production and marbling percentage were calculated at the end of the experiment. The second experiment, consisted of six variations of withdrawal times 0, 3, 5, 7, 10 and 15 days of oxytetracycline given in diet and it was evaluated on the productivity of broiler. The third and fourth stage of the exPeriment, consisted of two variables, these were withdrawal times of oxytetracycline given in the diet and slaughter age of broiler, than evaluations were done on the productivity of broiler. The fifth stage of the experiment, consisted of three variabels of slaughter ages of broiler and antibiotics residues in the meat was observed. Final stage of the exPeriment, consisted of four variabels storage period of carcas, than calcium and total mineral content of meat was observed. The results of the experiment showed that body weight gain, feed efficiency and meat production, were increased (P<0,05) by degree of concentration of oxytetracycline in the diet and by type of feeding pattern regulation. S3F4 feeding pattern regulation combined with 75 ppm of oxytetracycline in the diet by 7 days of oxytetracycline withdrawal time, resulted high performance of broiler, but oxytetracycline residue measured in meat was 0.2756 p~ and this value was above the World Health Organization (0.25 p~l. however this value was below the Food and Drugs Administation standard (0.5 p~). The minerals lost especially calcium from carcas at 12 to 18 hours duration time after slaughter was highly significant <P<O.Ol).
