Twenty four mice divided into six groups of treatment, i. e. negative control (P0-), administered with 0.5 % CMC Na, positive control (P0+) with spiramycin 150 mg/kg, and P1, P2, P3, P4 with 200 mg/kg, 100 mg/kg, 50 mg/kg, 25 mg/kg respectively. The treatment was performed on 5 consecutive days, the next day after treatment, they were sacrificed, the cerebrum were harvested and prepared for histopathological examination. Statistical analysis were performed using kruskal-wallis test, followed by Mann-Whitney test.
