Summary: | Introduction: Adolescents with internet addiction tend to have low achievement
motivation. they just play online games to become addicted. This research was
aimed to Analyze the relationship between game addiction with achievement
motivation in adolescents aged 15-20 years on the Ploso Baru, Tambak sari,
Surabaya. Methods: Research uses correlation study, a study that discusses the
degree of correlaty between variables, The target population of this study was
teenagers aged 15-20 years who play online games 50 people. The questionnaire
contains questions about online games addiction as much as 27 and achievement
motivation as much as 25, The sampling technique used for this study was the
total sampling technique in which the entire large population is reachable for use
as a sample. Results: Spearman rank test showed that there was no correlaty
online games addiction and achievement motivation, the sig. p= 0,108 (>0,05) and
Spearman correlation value of 0,230. Discussion: It can be concluded that the
addiction of online games is not correlated with achievement motivation in
adolescents. |
