Clinics Background: BPJS Kesehatan is one of government program to increase national health quality which guarantee health providence to the society and expected to be enrolled by every civilian in Indonesia. To observe the program, the research was done to measure the satisfaction level between BPJS Kesehatan and private outpatient and the result of the resaerch can be used as evaluation tool for the program. Objective: To observe the differecnce between the satisfaction level of BPJS Kesehatan and private patiet in Dr. Haryoto general hospital, Lumajang. Methods: This research used observational analytic design with quota sampling method. The total research sample was 300 respondent, consist of 150 BPJS Kesehatan patien and 150 private patient in Dr. Haryoto general hospital, Lumajang, assess the questionnaire that consisted of satisfactory level variable of KEPMENPAN no. 25 tahun 2004. Result : Descriptive test was done, there were no difference for the satisfactory level between BPJS Kesehatan and private patient for the quality service given by the hospital. Quality service given by the hospital categorized as “good” for both BPJS Kesehatan and private patient. Comparison test was done, and there were the different in the requirement element with p=0,017, but this result did not affect the overall satisfactory with p=0,329.
