The observation was done by examined the number of Leydig cells. The data was analyzed by ANOVA and Duncan test. The research showed significant differents (p < 0.05) among the treatment groups. The conclusion of this research is kesum leaves (Polygonum minus) ethanol extract can protect and maintain the number of Leydig cells of mice testes from destructive effect of cadmium chloride, and the optimum dose is 400 mg/kg bw/day. 2) in mice (Mus musculus). Twenty male mice were divided into five groups, four mice each group and administered through intragastric gavage with differents treatments for 21 days.
