It is later revealed that these characters have heroic act coded within its narrative. Thus, as media, audiences have a role to play for interpreting meaning from text. This study use Reception Analysis by Stuart Hall to finds how the player perceives the protagonists in this video game. The writer conducts an interview to Grand Theft Auto V players. Purposive sampling is used to determine eligible participants to ensure the best possible outcome.
