ESTIMATION OF DEMAND EQUATION FOR INDONESIAN TUNA PRODUCTS: An Analysis of the Transcendental Logarithmic Model

This paper examines the demand function for different type of tuna products from Indonesia over period 1991-2010 using Transcendental Logarithmic model. Tuna species is categorized as 4 (four) groups of tuna products with two main types of tuna, yellowfin tuna and skipjack tuna. The result shows tha...

Furthermore, tuna products specified as inelastic goods by own-price elasticity, more substitute goods in cross-price elasticity and normal goods in income elasticity.
