總結:The objective of this study is to examine the effect of work-family conflict and job characteristics towards employee engagement. Two independent variables in this study are work-family conflict and job characteristics. Employee engagement is the dependent variable. This research was held at Pasuruan Branch of Bank Jatim. The objects for this study are operational employees. The quantity of respondents in this research are 61 respondents from the total number of 80 operational employees. The measurements of all variables are based on the respondentâ��s answers and assessments by using Likert Scale toward the statements in the questionnaire. Multiple-regression is applied in this research to examine the hypothesis with work-family conflict and job characteristics as independent variables and employee engagement as dependent variable. The result concluded that there is a significant effect between work-family conflict and job characteristics on employee engagement with F=13,985, sig=0,000. The result of work-family conflict on employee engagement has a beta coefficients value=-0,457, sig=0,000 shows that there is a significant and negative effect to employee engagement. The result of job characteristics on employee engagement has a beta coefficients value=0,234, sig=0,042 shows that there is a significant and positive effect to employee engagement.
