Summary:One way to win the competition is to maintain the health human resources (nurses), which has been owned by improving organizational commitment. Previous research found that employees with job satisfaction has a relationship with affective organizational commitment. Quality of work life also has a positive relationship with affective organizational commitment. This study aimed to determine whether job satisfaction and quality of work life together be able to be a predictor of affective organizational commitment of nurses. This study uses field study. The research instrument used was the scale of affective organizational commitment, job satisfaction scale and the scale of quality of work life with five alternative answers. Reliability estimation was done by using Cronbach alpha. The data analysis technique is multiple regression analysis (multiple regression). The results of this study Freg = 12.794 with p = 0.000 (p <0.01), R2 = 0.318, these results indicate that job satisfaction and quality of work life together can predict affective organizational commitment and effective contribution given two independent variables of 31.8%.
