investment and to encourage the efficient of national economic. The global
competition claim PT. Bumiputera Muda 1967 General Insurance in order to
repair by the more harder work and more innovative and creative to create the
products that can fulfill the needs of society.
During this time, the measurement of performance that be done by PT.
Bumiputera Muda 1967 General Insurance still give big attention to the finance
aspect that have short term characteristic, so that there is a tend to ignore the
performance of non-finance such as the satisfaction of customer.
The measurement of performance of PT. Bumiputera Muda 1967 General
Insurance use Balanced Scorecard Approach that involve four aspects namely the
measurement of performance to the aspect of finance, aspect of customer, aspect
of business process/intern, and aspect of learning and growth. This concept be
used in order to describe vision and mission of PT. Bumiputera Muda 1967
General Insurance so that the purpose of company can be reached. After that
vision and mission be described become some strategic target and strategic
initiative in each Balanced Scorecard perspective. Strategic target that want to be
reached by PT. Bumiputera Muda 1967 General Insurance are 11, meanwhile
strategic initiative that be operated in order to reach strategic target area 17 steps.
Base on the data processing by Balanced Scorecard be gotten last score of
performance of PT. Bumiputera Muda 1967 General Insurance are 89.73%
included well category event still so far from target 100 percent. Performance
score of each perspective is for finance perspective is about 65.84 percent, for
customer perspective is about 96.50 percent, for internal business process
perspective is about 100 percent and finally for learning and growth perspective is
about 86.66 percent, so that total of score entirely is about 89.73 percent (eighty
nine, seventy three) from total of score 100 with �Good� predicate.
In order to increase the performance of company in the future, management of
company must do the review of policy that related about socialization of product
to society widely such as the installation of advertising and add in mass media,
employee salary system, and continuity product innovation process, as suitable
with the claim of competition and the fulfilling of satisfactory to the employee and
customer. |
