Description
Summary:This study was conducted to determine the use of cookies waste and its effects on carcass production and abdominal fatness of broiler chickens. A total of 90 day old chick (DOC) Lohmann strain broilers were randomly devided into 3 treatments. Each treatment consisted of 3 replications with 10 birds each. The three treatment groups were R0 without cookies waste, R1, R2 were the use of 2.5% and 5% cookies waste, respectively. The dietary treatments were given from day 7 until day 28. The feed used in the study contained CP 21-22% and ME 3050-3066 kcal/kg. The data which collected were live weight, carcass weight, percentage of carcass, main cuts of carcass (breast and thigh), abdominal fat weight and percentage of abdominal fat. The data were analyzed One Way of ANOVA. The results showed that the use of cookies waste did not affect live weight, carcass weight, percentage of carcass, main cuts of carcass (breast and thigh), abdominal fat weight, and percentage of abdominal fat of broiler chickens.
