The method I used study of literature method. Study of literature method was a method of data collection through the book. Hanagasa Festival wasarranged every year on August 5 to 7 in the city center of Yamagata. The festival began to be arranged since 1963. At the festival , there were about 10,000 participant from more than 100 groups of organization. The participants were singing and dancing Hanagasa while holding a straw hat decorated with artificial flower resemble benibana flower. In the festival, most of the participants dressed in variety yukata (traditional dress of summer in Japan) which according to each participant organization. Hanagasa dance was performed by a group of dancers Hanagasa consists of two types of dances, the dance of Zao Gyoko and the dance of Kunpu Mogamigawa.
