Summary:A Field Work Practice (PKL) in Industrial, Trade, Co-operation and Agricultural Office in Yogyakarta City were conducted to learn office tasks in supervising a quality and distribution of animal-origin foodstuffs such as milk. This Final Task writing was aimed to know the supervision towards fresh milk quality so that it could add reader�s knowledge and insight. In 2013 many as 217 fresh milk samples observed its condition and its composition in the Veterinary Public Health Laboratory (Kesmavet) of Industrial, Trade, Co-operation and Agricultural Office in Yogyakarta City. The milk sample was taken by several methods namely: taking from messenger (straat monster), taking from stable (staal monster) and milk collector (co-operation). The examination was conducted to know milk condition among others: cleanliness test, organoleptic test, acid degree test and alcohol test of 70%. The examination was conducted to know milk composition among others: specific weight measurement and milk fat nature calculation. Out of 217 fresh milk samples tested it obtained 65.66% results of fresh milk samples classified in �good� criteria and 33.44% classified in �fair� category. From the result, it could be concluded that fresh milk distributed in Yogyakarta City had a suitable nutritional nature and was proper to consume.
