Summary:Low nutrition status due to low amount and quality of food consumption as well as less conservation in nature of farm production constrained for farm households in matches thz requirements of households' food security ar?d sustainable agriculture. When food production obtained fiom sustainable farm ufisatisfied the requirement of houszbolds' fmd coZsw*ption,the households can match the food consumption by buying food at the market. If the food price remains constant, the households' food purchasing power increases by improving the households' income. This study aitempted to determine reforms in the farm households model that match the requirements of households' food security and sustainable agriculture that can improve households' net cash flow and sustainable farm production at once. The farm h o ~ h o l d s ' linear programming model that matches the requirements of households' food security and sustainable agnculture (FSSA-LP model) was used to achieve the objectives of this study. Primary data collected from samples of 100 farm households at each rural area of the three provinces of Indotxsia, i.e. Bali, East Java and Yogyakarta, was used to specifj parameters of the model. The application of higher t e c h c a l efficiency and the methods of low external input sustainable agricultiue as well zis high ecological information sustainable agriculture simultaneousiy were simulated in the validated FSSA-LP model. The results revealed that the application of highest t e c h c a l efficiency that yielded optimal farm output and methods of low external input sustainable agriculture as well as high ecological information sustainable agriculture that resulted sustainable farm production i n the FSSA-LP model simultaneosly, not only increase households net cash flow but also can offset the loss of the households net cash flow resulted by simultaneously changing of exogenous factors of the FSSA-LP model, such as high credit interest rate, high current input price, low farm output and higil food price. It is therefore recommended that the aFplication of higher technical efficiency and ?he methods of low external input sustainable agnculture as well as high ecological information sustainable agriculture i n the FSSA-LP model simultaneousIy are needed to improve households' net cash flow as well as sustainable farm production.
