If the dihedral angle was increased from 10° to 20°, at low a, CI increased while Cd decreased. However, for high ot, a 104, both CI and Cd increased. It was suspected that 'the competition between the effects of tip -vortices and-flow strengthening at the root-pdayad significant role in characterizing the lift and-drag of hydrofoils. Further investigations iinplemen ting flow visualization methods are necessary.
