Summary:The study was conducted to investigate the effect of seaweed as an Iodine source, on the Iodine content. The stage 1 was done to identify seaweed and nutrient content especially the Iodine. On stage 2, the grinding seaweed was initiated day sortation, drying, grinding and filtering and the ration mixing according to the type of treatment. Stage 3 was done to test the application of seaweed in layer diet. Sixty (60) layers of 28 weeks of age were randomly grouped into four (4) dietary treatments with 5 replications. The four dietary treatments were Ro (SW 0%)
