Two hundred broilers, of three weeks old, consisting of 50% male and 50% female, were devided into 40 groups randomly. Each group (cage) consisted of 5 birds. There were 4 dietary treatments used in this experiment i.e. R, [contained 3,000 kcal ME/kg and. CP 18%], R2 [3,000 kcal ME/kg and CP 2394 R3 [3,000 kcal ME/kg and CP 28 %] and R4 [3,000 kcal ME/kg and CP 33%]. Each treatment using 5 cages. At six weeks old, 3 broilers from each cage were randomly slaughtered in order to obtain carcass quality and lipogenesis of broilers. The result indicated that using high dietary protein could improve feed conversion and reduced abdominal fat significantly (p < .01) of finishir% broilers.
