with declivity land between 0% until 40%. Based on discharge
in river and irrigation channel its head, it estimated that there is microhydro
potential can be generated as an alternative solution of electricity problem. This
researchis aimed to analyze river and irrigation channel potential for PLTMh, plan
the crossflow turbine, and design potential located of PLTMh which is chosen
(Baturgedong-Danawarih).
To determine the microhydro, the research has been done toward discharge
river data, rainfall, topography map, administration map. Primary data collected
by direct measuring in the area, like irrigation channel discharge and head.
The research result of water energy potential in Tegal Regency is obtained
1012 KW electricity power in 9 potenial points from irrigation cannel and
539,495 KW from 12 potenial points in the river. Its total is 1.551,553 KW,
Economy analysis result indicates investment cost which is needed by
development of microhydro power plant (PLTMH) system at�gung� primary
irrigation channel Baturgedong is Rp.824.000.242,00- with Benefit Cost Ratio (
BCR ) = 1,87. The construction result of crossflow turbine which diameter 88
mm, for head = 3,4 m and Q = 5 lt /s, the result of efficiency is 59 % . |
