and the priority of the lateness risk source in a project planning step. This research is focus on
the scheduling process and the project risk management, by using Program Evaluation and
Review Technique (PERT) and Project Risk Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (RFMEA)
methods.
Based to the historical information of heavy c-check B-737 NG Turn Around Time
(TAT) value at PT GMF Aeroasia between 2008 and 2011, ascertainable if there�s a significant
deviation between the average of contract TAT value and the average of actual TAT value. The
main purpose of PERT in this project is to find out the optimal TAT value of the project and
identify the critical activities in this project. The optimal TAT value can be defined as the total
duration of the project critical path, while the critical activities that identified in this project is
used as the variable in the RFMEA analysis process.
The result of RFMEA analysis gave information about the priority of the project lateness
risk source. Project Risk Priority Number (RPN) is the outcome of the calculation between the
risk score and the risk detection ability. The combination of the RPN and risk score on the scatter
plot shows the project lateness risk source. According to information that shown at the Pareto
diagram of RPN, risk score and the scatter plot, the source of lateness problem in the heavy ccheck
B-737 NG at PT GMF Aeroasia is the material availability in engine and pylon, fuselage
and cargo, hydraulic and landing gear, and cabin area. |
