Summary: | This study aims to determine the effects of type of
emotion and country of origin on product quality judgment. This
study was conducted with experimental methods. Experiment
design used is mixed design factorial using between-subjects
(type of emotion) and within-subjects (country of origin). Type of
emotion divided into two treatments: nationalism (experiment
group) and non-nationalism (control group). Country of origin
divided into two treatments, namely Indonesia and the state X
(the fictitious country with the information as developed
country). Open recruitment conducted for the undergraduate
subject. The treatments given using computer program created
by the researcher contains the priming, questionnaire, and
manipulation check. Data were analyzed with Mixed Design
Factorial Anova.
The results showed that the type of emotion does not
affect the product quality judgment (F 0.496 |
