Summary: | This study aims to analyze the significance and influence of the
meaningfulness in the work place and empowering leadership on the employee
innovative behavior. There are two hypotheses in this study are (1)
meaningfulness has a positive influence on employee innovative behavior, (2)
empowering leadership has a positive influence on employee innovative behavior.
Methods of data collection used questionnaire method. In this study the
respondents who were used are the marketing employees. Determination of the
respondents used convenience sampling method for reasons of practicality,
efficiency and limitations of research time. Analysis of data using multiple linear
regression analysis and t test and F test using a significance level of 5%.
Test results show that the hypothesis 1 which is meaningfulness has a
positive influence on innovative behavior is acceptable. Hypothesis 2 which is
empowering leadership has a positive influence on innovative behavior can also
be accepted. The conclusion to be drawn from this study is the meaningfulness
and empowering leadership have a positive influence on employee innovative
behavior. |
