Summary: | The research aims to show the educational impact of Arabic poetry on values and ethics in the Arabian
Peninsula society, as the impact of poetry on Arab educational, religious, social, intellectual and literary life is
clearly visible at all levels. The research follows the descriptive analytical method. The research contained
two sections, the first presented: educational aspects, the second section discussed the moral values, then
the conclusion contained some findings. Among these findings: that values, morals and lofty ideals have
prevailed in Arab society since the pre-Islamic era, and the Arabs extracted them from the common sense of
man, then Islam established and refined those values. The Arab community has practiced values and
morals, and among these values: Morals, courage, generosity, generosity, relief of the afflicted, fulfilling the
covenant, supporting the oppressed, preserving the neighbor, chivalry and other lofty values and morals.
Many educational aspects appeared among the Arabs, including faith education, moral education, physical
education, social education, and others. Poetry and poets had a great and clear educational impact on Arab
society, by instilling educational aspects in the hearts of members of Arab society, and linking them to values
and morals. |
