Summary:This research concentrates on the effectiveness of the Self Access Learning Programme in enhancing the performance of students in English in Sek. Keb. Padang Midin , Kuala Terengganu , Terengganu . It tries to confirm that the Self Access Learning Programme is an effective tool in enhancing the performance of students in English especially through the various activities being conducted and also a lot of materials being provided . Through the procedures being conducted , it was found that a total number of 90 students and 4 teachers were involved in this study. It was said that a total of 77.8% or 70 pupils agreed that the self access mode of learning is interesting and motivating to them . This means that the Self Access Learning Programme is good and sufficient to the students . It is hoped that the Self Access Learning Programme will give a better chance to students to feel and absorb the English environment and hopefully it could help and enhance them to achieve better performance in English in future. In conclusion , the study indicated that the Self Access Learning Programme is a successful programme and it should be implemented in all schools in the country.
