The session covered essential F&B service skills, the leadership and communication traits that a Cafe Supervisor should possess. Participants included students from UiTM and Kolej Vokasional Sepang. The session provided valuable insights into the coffee bean making procedures in the hotel industry, the importance of supporting local suppliers. Witnessing the passion and dedication of the local coffee bean supplier was truly enlightening, as delving into the coffee-making process and the unique characteristics of Dubai's coffee beans, the Wings Collection, discovered the crucial aspect of the F&B service industry –“sourcing coffee beans”. Mandarin Oriental Doha, believes in establishing direct relationships with coffee bean suppliers, allows ensuring the highest quality standards. Dubai, renowned for its vibrant coffee culture, boasts some of the world's finest coffee beans. The favorable climate and fertile soil contribute to the exceptional flavor and aroma of these beans. The industry shares that using quality coffee beans can be a game-changer for hotel operators. By sourcing their coffee beans locally, hotel operators can showcase their commitment to excellence, support the community, and ensure a fresh and authentic coffee experience for their guests. Their attention to detail guarantees that each batch of coffee beans meets the highest standards that hotel operators can rely onto consistently provide top-notch coffee supplies, enhancing their reputation in serving exceptional coffee to the guests.
