Summary:For centuries, plants have been provided as food and medicine to mankind. Indigenous people are well-known for the ethnobotanical knowledge as some of the plants contribute nutritive diet and medical value. Therefore, the first objective of the present study was to document the indigeneous knowledge from Temiar ethnic. The second objective was to determine the nutritional vales of the plants for food, the third objective was to identify the antioxidant and toxicity properties of medicinal plants consumed by the Temiar ethnic who lived in the district of Gua Musang, Kelantan.
