This study aimed to record the assemblages and distribution of epiphytIc algae on pneumatophore of lhe mangrove SOl1l1eratia caseolaris ill Sungai Melaban. KOla Samarahan. Studies were carried QUI two times, first on December 201·1-. and the second sampling was carried out on January 2015. Two divisions were recorded which were Phaeophyceae and Diatom \8acillariophyeeae). The Phaeophyceae only comprised of one species iJl both sampling ", hieh was Dictyota dichotoma. The diarom compositions varied for different s"mpling. In first sJmpling, 17 genera ",·ere recorded; whi le in second <;ampling 23 genera were recorded. TIle most common genera which occurred at every sampling station were Pragillaria, Gyrosigma, Melosira, Navicula, Pilll1ularia, and Pleurosigma.
