Summary:This project is to study the relationship between human resource management practices and employee job performance in financial services industry. Employee job performance is analyzed using four human resource management practices: recruitment and selection, compensation, training and development, and performance appraisal. A total of four hypotheses are formulated and experimented among the employees of financial services industry located in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur. The results indicated that all human resource management practices are significantly correlated with employee job performance. In this study, performance appraisal is the most influential practice on employee job performance in financial services industry.
