Summary: | Millions of motorcycles in South East Asian cities create the majority of the traffic based air and noise pollution in cities. One alternative to solve those pollutions is to design a prototype and to build a hydrogen fuel cell powered motorcycle which is emission free, has very low noise level, and able to cope with the range and performance of currently used motorcycles. This paper presents a fuel cell motorcycle design to fit the consumers' needs, and quantitative and qualitative design parameters for such a new technology and the targeted market segment. Optimization in energy efficiency is also discussed. |
