الملخص:The study is designed mainly to identify cohesive devices used in the textbook on Accounting at ULSA and find out their frequency of use. The study also aims at finding out teachers’ attitude towards teaching cohesion. Two useful data instruments are used; namely textbook analysis, with four reading texts from ESP textbook and interview, with 5 teachers teaching ESP at Accounting Department. Based on the findings, some significant implications were provided: Cohesive devices should be highlighted in the reading texts. It is hoped that the results of this research would be helpful to both the teachers and students in teaching and learning cohesion.
