"Active learning" have been proposed to address the challengers in providing students with hands-on experiences. In reality, many of these researches focus maily on theoretical aspects that practical aspects of hands-on learning activities have been overlooked. As a result, instructors hesitate to apply practice based teaching techniques, especually in classroom because it requires too many things such as time, effort and networking and higher education instutions are still criticized for not sufficiently challenging students enough.
