To appraise the actual status of the assessment and evaluation activities, we surveyed 5 out of 8 military academies (academies with tertiary training) across the country, accounting for 62.5%. The results indicate some inadequacies such as the forms of assessment and evaluation are not really suitable for the military occupations; the management decentralization is not clear, etc. Especially, learners’ capacity assessment is very fuzzy.
