Summary:In this thesis, the author wishes to assess the situation of Vietnamese seafood’s competitiveness and identify factors affecting the seafood’s competitiveness. At the same time, the thesis also estimates challenges in which the sectors have to face due to of increasingly deeper international economic integration, requirements for enhancing the competitiveness of enterprises in the industry, to create a solid step for the development of Vietnam’s seafood industry. The research is also expected to clarify the relationship among crucial factors affecting Vietnamese seafood’s competitiveness, thereby proving the importance of leveraging advantage factors for creating the sustainable competitiveness of Vietnamese seafood sector.
