Preliminary exploring in Sino epigraphic stele of Japan.

Vietnam and Japan are respectively located in South East Asia and North East Asia and coincide with each other in Sino records carved on rock, copper and wood. A large number of articles carved with Japanese scripts were placed in mosques Well it, pagodas or in store houses of antiques called be, a small number of those were attached with road - side rocks, on mountains or preserved at individual homes. There are three kinds of material to shape script stele, namely stone, copper and wood. With stone, epigraphical script was carved on stele, stone pillars, towers, tombstones, statutes, lamp - posts, lanterns or ink - slabs. With copper, epigraphical script was carved on bells, boxes containing Budhism books, small towers made of copper, or even statutes for the purpose of memorial. With wood, epigraphical script was mainly carved on statutes. On Japanese stone steles, there was rarely floral decoration.
